Vertical Solar Shading

NLC recently completed the supply & installation of this vertical brise soleil system to Our Lady & St Chads school in Wolverhampton. 3 No. brise soleil panels were supplied all of which were split into two sections due to the spans between the supporting steelwork. A central box section support was introduced to give additional strength to the system which contained a drop-rod through the centre. The drop-rod was secured to a fully welded primary bracket which was hidden beneath the soffit. The engineers drilled and tapped the circular steelwork and M10 bolts were used to support the panels where the side frames met the steels.
